The Upper Missouri River Heritage Area Planning Corporation, Inc. (UMRHAPC) is a 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to obtain National Heritage Area designation for an area in central Montana. The UMRHAPC has been working diligently the last three years to prepare for congressional designation of a National Heritage Area (NHA) in central Montana. If approved, Upper Missouri River would be the United States’ fiftieth NHA and the first in Montana. To meet the National Heritage Area Feasibility Study Guidelines outlined by the National Park Service and required by Congress, the UMRHAPC Board of Directors is soliciting proposal for preparation of a Feasibility Study for our emerging NHA. Written questions can be submitted until September 5, 2017. All proposals must be postmarked no later than September 15, 2017.
